Pontiac Confirms That G8 GT Only Available With Automatic

There have been several rumors circulating that have indicated that the 2009 Pontiac G8 GT was going to include a six-speed manual transmission as an option, but Pontiac’s communications manager Jim Hopson has set the record straight. The only transmissions to be offered will be a 5L40 five speed automatic unit for the base models, and a 6L80 six speed automatic for the V8 models.

Only A Select Few Chevy Dealers To Receive Corvette ZR1

According to GM, the number of dealers set to receive the new ZR1 will be limited to only 338 dealers, out of 3,932 nation-wide. Only those dealers with the highest proven Corvette sales records will be included in those 338. Even those dealers that were picked are expected to receive only one or two cars each.
