SupraAnyone like these cars? I love em. If there was a import I would go with, it would be this. Pretty much all the Supra's that were made between 1986, and 2002 are great. I personally like the orange one from the first Fast And The Furious movie. Shame Toyota doesn't make them anymore.

I love them too. I have an 84. I'm actually trying to own all four generations.
They were actually made from 79-2002. Contrary to poupar belief, you do have to count the Celica-Supra as a supra, because it was only based off of the Celica. It was still longer by 6 inches, had a different cross member, and usually a different rear end. Check out Supraformus.com tons of info there. I presonally hate every supra in F&F. Those cars were ugly. Total waste of a good supra. I'll show them how to properly do one up. |

i think its funny how you always hear stories about them having 1000 horse power and shit but they still take 10+ seconds to make it down the track ya know??
my question is, you have a car as fat as the supra, heavy, big, all that jazz and it can't get traction.... its just... funny ![]() |

well, the 1000 hp supras usually aren't on slicks. But there are some street class supras running... 7s I think. I don't remember. I kinda gave up on drag racing.
But yeah, supras are notorius for having no grip. torque's a bitch. |

I always loved the last generation of them, like in the pic above. 98-2002 ? Just like DOSBoot, this would be the import I'd buy if I went with one. I wouldnt necessarily mod the hell out of it though, pep it up just a little and enjoy it for what it is.

Best thing to do if you own a 4th gen Supra is to remove that second turbo and go straight single. Alot of the Supra owners do that and it creates MUCH more power. I have been a fan of Supra's for god knows how long, i regularly surf supraforums.com all the time as well.
