Finally...Its About Time I Did This...

Big thanks to GTsetGO for giving me a handfor the time he could...

I guess its about time I put Joes old intercooler on my car...It only too almost 18 months...lol

Started at 0800 this morning and finished 1830...Putting a DIY intercooler on "New Edge" Mustangs are a real pain...

But I finally got it almost done...Still need to make a new spot for the IAT sensor and have a bung welded on my powerpipe...But the hard part is done...

Heres some pictures...

Here is what it looked like before...

Here is what it looks like now...

This is just some random shots to give ya an idea...

This was the biggest pain in the ass...Clocking the blower

This was the other side of the garage during the operation...

This is the bottom of the powerpipe and the elbow of the intercooler piping...

I have to get the bung welded on the powerpipe so that I can recirculate the bypass...

Cant really even tell it is there...Which is good

I had to take my fog lights out though because the piping hit them...

Here Are The Rest Of The Pictures...Feel free to browse...

Looks great dude, I was wondering if you ever installed it. That intercooler made great power for me. Make sure you double up the clamps wherever you can, I blew off the 2nd coupler from the supercharger a couple times under full boost before I finally did.

I am going to switch to T-Clamps ASAP...But right now Im not down with paying $8 for each one...lol

Unless someone knows of a place with them cheaper...

It was a pain in the a$$ at first getting started but then my tunes kicked in and the coffee and such...GTsetGO helps me out alot as well...

And I have to relocate the IAT...

I am going to be out of town this weekend so GTsetGO is going to get it welded up for me while I am gone...
