Hello With A QuestionHello All,
My name is Lass Thompson and I currently live in west Texas, transplanted from southern California. I have a couple of Toyota MR2 MkII (the poor man's Ferrari). They're fun, but Ferrari has been my passion since one day in 1958 when my father took the family to Elkhart Lake for a road race. I saw a 500 Testa Rossa and the love affair was on. Fifty years have passed, but the fire remains. I have been searching for the answer to this question since the mid 60's when I saw a movie called "Spirits of the Dead". It was a low budget, 3 part horror flick, the last segment directed by Fellini. There was a Ferrari in that segment that I have been unable to identify since, so here's the question: What is the model of the Ferrari in that movie? Probably a silly question, but curiostiy is best served when satisfied. Cheers, Lass |

This is what i gathered after a quick search:
The body work was built by Fiorenzo Fantuzzi and is built on a 330LMB chassis #4381GT. It originally had a 4 litre V12. It was called "The golden Ferrari" and was driven by Terence Stamp in the Fellini film "Toby Dammit". He tries to escape in the Ferrari. When he tries to jump a broken bridge he is decapitated by a steel wire. The film is included in "Spirits of the dead". |

My Thanks to AllThanks for the welcomes. Special thanks to BWAL09 for the amazing research! I don't know how you did it, but put simply, "WOW"! Another "hats off" to onemanzu for the youtube clip. Yep, that's it.
I'm looking for a '88 or '89 328 GTB, preferrably, but a GTS is acceptable. Since I live in west Texas (not the end of civilization. It's a few miles back) I need a solid driver's car and not a "fixer upper". Anybody know some good places to look? Thanks again. Lass |

nice choice. They are around but a good driver will be hard to find unless you have a decent budget. I have been looking for a gtb 4 cam for awhile but its hard to find a '67 4 cam for a decent price.
