Anyone Built There Own 4.6 Yet?

Just wanted to see if anyone has built their own 4.6. I am about to do the Mach's in the next couple weeks and just wanted to see what some others have went thru.

I have, if you're going with a poweradder or high rpm make sure you get a good oil pump, either with cryo or billet gears and a deep sump oil pan and forged rods. Those are the most important things to worry about with the shortblock in my opinion.

I got the MMR street/race pump, Forged H-beams, Manley foged flat tops, clevite race rod bearings, federal mogul race main bearings, main girdle with arp studs/bolts. I have built a lot of motors but I was just wondering if the 4.6 had some specific little quirks I should iron out, like thrust bearing failures, or main seal problems?

Yep got all the bolt ons done, when the automatic went out on it, it created too much front load on the crank and messed up the thrust bearing.

That spun a rod bearing and so now its time to build. Got the 3650 put in but didn't even get to realy drive it cause the motor was going out. O well its just money right?

And me. I need some money. I don't have a job right now, except for the Marine Reserves. No one is hiring.
