If I get one, it will be under my name. My car is on my mom's plan because of insurance, and I need to build up some credit. My lease (begins in August) will be one way to do that, but having the money set aside to buy this bike will be another...

Exactly why I sold mine. Lol, nah I don't like fast cars only fast bikes. I am way to irresponsible in a fast car.

I grew up in Montana and learned to drive when we didn't have speed limits out there. I never fully adjusted to speed limits.

must admit that is a good price for a 250...i recently bought a Yamaha fz6 for about 6.2k.

Insurance is roughly $1,800 a year, so to me it's all good

with a 600cc sport bike its near impossible...well i could be wrong, it all depends. i would see those types of prices for 250cc-650cc cruiser type motorcycles.

Ok...one thing..i would LOVE to know how he's paying that low for insurance on a R6 of all things. If it's full coverage then that's one F'ing good policy...if it's liability theeeennn that's a different story.

And to answer your question, it all depends on the State, Location, and of course the Insurance company your with. i just recently moved and just a city change can jack up your prices like there's no tomorrow.
