What Bike Do You Ride?

I used to own a Suzuki 900cc sport cruiser, I don't ride anymore. I'm really looking into getting a Yamaha R1 or maybe R6, 2006ish model.

I would love a Honda CBR600RR, but I can't afford to buy anything right now. My girlfriend thinks I would kill myself anyhow, and she may very well be right. But I used to race MX and I would love a sport bike to cruise around on!

You're probably right, I was 23ish when I owned my first bike and I really thought I'd end up killing myself with that much power. I decided to give up riding until I was 25 so I'd mature a bit, and never got around to buying another. Not to mention the insurance, I had a quote from Progressive (usually the cheapest sportbike insurance company) for $5,000 /yr... and considering the used R1 was only $4,500 I didn't consider it to be a smart purchase.

i had a 97 gsxr 600. it had cams, full yoshi rs3 race pipes with carbon silencer. lowered 3" up two in the back and down 1 in the front. it was fun. but started getting wiring gremlins and i needed some money so i let it go.

i want a zx12r. and if i find one that is at a good price im gonna get me one.

Its restored to original...

Going with a chrome air filter cover and drag pipes instead of the black cover and the fish-tails...
