Dynoed Today

so i got my car back like 2 weeks ago after the rebuild and addition of long tubes. i was having issues with the car running like shit and stalling out on me, so i took it to my local tuner. he got it on the dyno and did a baseline run. car made about 260 hp and 300 tq. but he said the MAF readings were all over the place. turns out the filter had fallen off my JLT. another pull after the filter was reinstalled and some tweaks to the tune yielded 275 hp and 310 tq. MAF was dead-on. i was pretty happy with it. he said the stalling issue is most likely being caused by a failing IAC, so it's time to replace it again. it actually stuck while it was strapped to the dyno. a light tap with a wrench corrected it. when it's replaced, he'll be able to do a little more with the tune, but i'll probably wait till i get my new driveshaft, then dyno it again. and when i got home, my new fuel door from AM was waiting on my doorstep. all after i only worked a half day at work...

haha! actually, my tuner tweaked the tune after the first pull. but on the first one, the MAF readings were all over the place (i wonder why lol), so i'm sure it helped a little.
the next big mod will be heads and cams, but that will be a while. i'm going to do soe minor mods this summer like rear uppers and lowers, SFC's, and DD rims/tires. maybe upgrade the rear to 31 spline...
