Alright guys, some of you have contacted me in reference to becoming moderators. Before you 'officially' apply, keep in mind there will be a few requirements (and perks). We have high expectations for MA (Modded Autos) and I hope that you do as well. Here is our goals:

Our model will include a front end, the homepage will be used to post car related news, pictures, articles etc. We will automagically import teasers of those articles into the appropriate sections here in the forum for further discussion. Moderators of the 'Honda' section, for example, would also be responsible for posting 'Honda' related articles on the front end of the website. As the site grows, we'll likely allow moderators/editors to participate in a revenue sharing program so that they can earn money from the articles they write.

In summary, we're accepting moderator applications. Please apply only for a manufacturer section, and you can apply for up to three (make sure you have time for whatever you undertake). Make sure you have the time and editing skills necessary to write at least three articles per month per section. We will only offer moderator spots to those who are serious about cars, and serious about Modded Autos. Thank you. Apply here. Please use this format:

not to jack the thread Joe but what about OT forums? they need Mods as well and I Don't see the need for a tech article in the clubhouse or underground; but there is a need for a mod or 2. just a thought.. feel free to delete this post.

Supermods can take care of those areas. Our primary concern is to have folks willing to dedicate time and effort into growing forums for the cars they're enthusiasts of.

PS - be sure to check Forum Leaders to see which forums are already staffed. I'd prefer just one moderator per forum, though a moderator can take 2 or 3 if they choose. All forums requested thus far have been filled. You may certainly apply for more if already applied.
