to choosing the forum skin... I liked the unfixed width version, now I have about 10 feet of empty space on each side...

I had trouble with fluid and switched to forum default works for me. 19" LCD 1024...

Forum should look exactly the same using either fluid or fixed with 1024x768 resolution. On larger resolutions there will be grey space on the sides with the fixed. I want to use fixed for default for a couple reasons, namely that the homepage is a fixed design (so it matches) but also it makes it easier to ensure the site looks the same in all browsers. But, for those that prefer the fluid designs I put it back up : )

Personally I prefer fluid as well.
