Posting Large Pictures

Hey guys, do us all a favor... if you're going to post large, high quality pics of your car (or anything else), please upload it as an attachment. Doing so builds thumbnails and keeps us from having to download 10 huge photos at once that break the page layout that we're viewing. Thanks.

Use your better judgement. My preference would be anything you think might stretch out somebody's post layout. I'd recommend somewhere around 600-800px wide.

So that means 1024x728 is good, or would 800x600 be better?

1024x768 should post posted as an attachment so a thumbnail is generated. Maybe less than 10% of internet users have browsers larger than 1400px which would be required not to stretch a 1024 picture posted in this forum.
