I don't feel like explaining its just I am tired of all the hype it has recieved. Who the f' cares about Heath Ledger, he f'ed Jake Gylinhall in Brokeback. He also was a serious drug addict, and many many actors could have done just as good a job or even better than he did playing the joker. Jim Carrey sucked btw. Think of Jack Nickelson in the Shinning, now that was some revolutionary acting back in the day, or Hannibal Lector.

I am a huge Movie/ TV buff but not a fan of the usual hollywood bs. I didn't see the Dark Knight in theaters, but did boot leg it, thats how I roll. It was good, I love Christian Bale; he is a terrific actor.

Basically my point is fuck the Joker and Heath Ledger, he is dead.

Sorry.

RIP Jim Morrison, now thats a drug addict who actually mattered.

you know you made a interesting point until you mentioned morrison what the hell did he ever do other then release horrible music. that man could not have died soon enough. hes the cobain of his time over hyped talentless dead druggie

i do belive there are other actors that could have played the part maybe just as well maybe even better and yes i belive its been overhyped but that being said its still a damn good movie. i see it as just another good actor falling to drugs

I will agree that it definitely is a good movie, but to me the media just over hyped it. Jim Morrison was a fucked up guy, but he was revolutionary in the fact that he helped loosen our social norms. He did pull his cock out on stage in front of a cop, thats pretty sweet. Lol.

good point i will say this thou he was more known for his antics then his talent. i think the media over hyped the death of ledger not the movie the movie deserved the hype it got
