Goodbye for now

Well I just got the word that I am going to the British SAS's jungle warfare school in Africa. I will be leaving in a couple of days and won't be back for a good 2 months. So farewell for now. It's gonna be a badass 2 months. The weather is nice to where I am going. Nothing like learning how to survive and fight in the jungle lead by guerrilla natives and the SAS.

i seem to recall (barely) a night of drunken shenanigans with some Scottish submariners that began at the senior rates club at Clyde Naval Base in Faslane, Scotland and ended somewhere else (still on the base) many, many hours later. don't remember much besides me pissing in every trashcan i could find while singing the Submarine Song at the top of my lungs...
and as for not hitting the pigmy women in the bush, +1. hit 'em in the pooper...
