This was done last Friday, just got around to pulling the video from the camcorder and ripping it for YouTube. I've been training ju-jitsu and kickboxing for almost 2 years now (blue belt), have had 1 kickboxing fight (lost 3rd round tko) and no MMA fights yet. Lost my first fight due to cardio, just didn't have the gas and started getting banged up pretty in the 2nd round, this was about 6 months ago. Decided to give it another go and have been training twice a day for the last 6 weeks. This was the first time I've been pushed really hard since then, and for training I fought a new fighter each round. The first two guys are pro fighters with a dozen or so fights, the third guy is an amateur with no fights.

I'm a technical fighter, but getting pushed exploits issues you didn't have when sparring / training. Like my hands being down (thought they were up, hehe) and throwing too wide of shots. Don't normally do that, but then again I don't normally try to knock folks out training. I managed to get a black eye out of the deal, think it happened in the 2nd round. Anyways some of you knew I trained so I wanted to post the video. Oh, I'm the one in black.

Well Bacon was ju-jitsu, and I was an orange belt (fresh) back then. Plus he was 260lbs to my 170. Plus I tapped him out twice in 3 rounds, he wrestled in high school and talked smack about ju-jitsu. He's a good guy though, wants to go again.
