I believe that it is a good idea, i hope it doesnt come true for fords sake. +1 on the svo, my dad thinks ford should have stuck with the svo all along. But what does he know. hehe

the solstice is doing well for its self, i don't know if i would consider it a muscle car but it has some heritage there... i could see chevy and ford putting a turbo'd 4 cylinder in there chassis

I think the Solstice's are pretty nice. I drove one a month back and was actually impressed.

Thats so gay. That is going to make the V8 owners feel like crap, because you have all of these 4 bangers driving around cramping your style. So gay....

a turbo'd four imo is still a strong motor... more respectable then some NA V6's that i know of...

yea, i would say it would have to be turboed, maybe even twin turboed. I think that it would be respectable. of course, ford would have to make the v8 have exceptionally more power than the 4 cyl, just so that the muscle car guys still stand out. Or ford makes a twinturboed car and instead of calling it a mustang. Call it a probe. Bring back Probe FTW

probes were never really good...

and im not sure how successful a twin turbo'd 4 cylinder from the factory would be...
