Turbo BMWs

Not really knowing anything on these cars but is there a BMW with an option for a turbo..more specifically a twin turbo. I read up on a 335i coupe that has an opt. for twins but only 300/300hptq that doesnt seem too impresive. And a new x5 V8 twin turbo with an est 400hp. Like is there a GT500 of the BMW world??

M3??? That is the GT500 of BMW.

4 liter V8 making 420bhp and about 300 lb tq, think about it 4.0 liters verses Mustang GTs 4.6 yet it still makes that MUCH power. Slap on a 86mm turbo and whammy instant speed.

0-62 4.6 secs

Note the gt500 and M3 are completely different animals designed for different purposes.

M3 Autobahn/ Nurenberg Ring (sp) destroyer

GT500 Route 66/ drag strip monster

The 335i, which just blows my mind is acutally a 3.0L V6 with tiny twin turbos designed for efficiency and minimal lag.

You also have the M6 M roadster, etc.

PS I accidently edited your post. No worries every word is there.

word man. That 335i is the shit if you ask me. Its the perfect car for a mid 20's to late 30's man. Style, power, sex appeal. Its what I would get if I was in the market for luxury.

Same, however I am a huge fan of the 1 series. If they were out in US I would get a 1 series diesel in a heartbeat. M-sport!!

Cool man..i always knew of M3/M5 ..just wasnt sure if they had like a package ontop of that..i wasnt trying to compare apples to oranges. I was curious if there was like a M3 twin turbo special car?? Or is the 335i there only turbo car they offer.

And yea if i was looking for luxury it would be BMW.. M3 ftw.
