When Roush unveiled the new P-51A Mustang, it was easy to tell that it wouldn’t be long before the 100 units being produced for 2008 were bought up. After all, it is the most powerful Roush designed Mustang to hit showroom floors. This car boasts an impressive 510hp from a supercharged 4.6L V8, that coupled with this car’s limited availability are sure to make it an instant collector car. Roush realized this and has bumped the production numbers up to 151 units, from the originally planned run of 100.

Pricing information has yet to be released, but it is safe to say it will be somewhere north of $65,000. This hefty price tags gets you Roush’s latest supercharger, forged internal engine components, a custom fuel rail and high flow injectors, a custom lower and upper intake manifold, upgraded twin-blade throttle body, and a high-capacity intercooler good for at least 510 horsepower.

The P-51A also receives a Roush body kit, 14 inch front brake rotors with 4 piston calipers, forged 18 inch wheels with BF Goodrich rubber, and a paint scheme inspired by the legendary 357th Fighter Group from World War II.
