There is alot to talk about amongest dealers in Little Rock, Arkansas this week. Many dealers have ventured down to Little Rock for the annual Car Wars sale amongest the dealers. Alot of the vehicles this year at the sale are going to be taking into consideration the high gas prices right now.

Frank Oresnik’s trusty pickup truck passed the 1 million-mile mark with a camera crew filming the event, and a public-radio audience listening in. Oresnik lives in Catawba in Price County, he passed the million-mile mark Friday in southeastern Wisconsin while on his way back home.

The new electric car from Chevrolet is on the way, we think. While we wanted to call it their newest hybrid, the company has consistantly expressed their desire for it to be called an electric with “range extender” – considering they only use gasoline to recharge the batteries. Beating cars more than 5 times it’s own price tag, the C6 Z06 lapped the Nurburgring in just 7:42.99. With a retail price of $70,000, it’s no secret that this car was the best money could buy.

General Motors has announced that it will build a hydrogen fueling station in Los Angeles in conjunction with Clean Energy Corp. The goal for this project is to promote the benefits of the clean-burning fuel, as well as G.M.’s progress in the field of alternative fuels. The two companies are also open to building the new hydrogen infrastructure in that hopes that it will build acceptance among consumers, and prove that hydrogen could one day be a successful alternative to fossil fuels.
