Wednesday, June 25th, 2008General Motors has announced that it will build a hydrogen fueling station in Los Angeles in conjunction with Clean Energy Corp. The goal for this project is to promote the benefits of the clean-burning fuel, as well as G.M.’s progress in the field of alternative fuels. The two companies are also open to building the new hydrogen infrastructure in that hopes that it will build acceptance among consumers, and prove that hydrogen could one day be a successful alternative to fossil fuels.
Pontiac Confirms That G8 GT Only Available With Automatic
Wednesday, June 25th, 2008There have been several rumors circulating that have indicated that the 2009 Pontiac G8 GT was going to include a six-speed manual transmission as an option, but Pontiac’s communications manager Jim Hopson has set the record straight. The only transmissions to be offered will be a 5L40 five speed automatic unit for the base models, and a 6L80 six speed automatic for the V8 models.
