Shelby GT500KR To Pick Up Where It Left Off

When the first Shelby GT500KR hit showroom floors in 1968, people started to realize that it truly lived up to its name as the King of the Road.  With a worked over 428 Cobra Jet, the classic muscle car produced 335hp and 440ft. lbs. of torque, deeming it virtually untouchable. After setting the standard for the performance car industry in the ’60s, Carroll Shelby knew he had to make a comeback when he noticed the muscle car wars were about to get bigger than ever between the “Big Three” car manufacturers, so he decided to build an all new GT500KR.

GM Thinks The Pontiac G8 Sport Truck Will Shine; I Beg To Differ

The brains at GM have decided it would be a good idea to bring back the El Camino style automobile in the form of the Pontiac G8 Sport Truck. From the front it looks just like the G8 GT but when you look around back you will find a 73.9 inch cargo area (bed), which is barley 6 foot. In this article I am going to discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly about this truck hitting show room floor in 2010.

Redefining American Muscle - 2009 ZR1 Corvette

Making its first debut at the 2008 Detroit Auto show, the new ZR1 Corvette is notably the most powerful Corvette that Chevrolet has ever made. This super-car tops the American market with an SAE-certified 638 horsepower and 604 foot-pounds of torque, which is a mere 38 horsepower more than the Dodge Viper. That puts the LS9 right at 103 horse power per liter which surpasses General Motors goal of 100 horsepower per liter.
