Subaru Impreza WRC2008 Unveiled Early

“The most radically different Subaru World Rally Car in 15 years!” That’s how Subaru World Rally Team principal David Richards would describe the new WRC2008, and we couldn’t agree less. Just the other day Subaru decided that it was time to unveil the new WRC2008, and even better, enter it in next weeks Acropolis Rally in Greece. The event will be marked by an official launch on the evening of Wednesday, May 28th.

All wheel drive can be a great thing while taking corners at high speeds on road courses, or maybe even driving in the snow, but let’s face it - nothing is quite as fun as a high powered rear wheel drive car. By taking styling cues from the ever-popular Murcielago LP640, and integrating an all-new rear wheel drive setup, Lamborghini may have just created their best work of art yet.

Well, something like that. Whatever Ferrari decides to name it, the new Ferrari California has finally been revealed to the public. There haven’t been specifics on its dimensions, but this new Ferrari does appear to be smaller then anything Ferrari has produced in recent years. Sadly we will have to wait a little bit longer for all the minute details, but we do have some photos to ogle at, and a bit of information to tide you over until then.

BMW is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the famed BMW M1. They are celebrating the new birthday in the way that we all love - with a new concept car which has been dubbed the M1 Homage. They recently debuted the new concept at the 2008 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Lake Como, Italy.

Redefining American Muscle - 2009 ZR1 Corvette

Making its first debut at the 2008 Detroit Auto show, the new ZR1 Corvette is notably the most powerful Corvette that Chevrolet has ever made. This super-car tops the American market with an SAE-certified 638 horsepower and 604 foot-pounds of torque, which is a mere 38 horsepower more than the Dodge Viper. That puts the LS9 right at 103 horse power per liter which surpasses General Motors goal of 100 horsepower per liter.
