Honda To Bring JDM Models To U.S.

Honda Fit

Several of the top automakers are looking for ways to bring in economical and fuel efficient cars over to the U.S. due to the increase in gas prices. Ford was one of the first to make this step and now it is Honda’s turn.

Honda is looking at a few cars right now in Japan and is considering how well they would be accepted and used by U.S. consumers. There is no question that they have the ability to turn Japanese cars into efficient and popular U.S. cars. They proved this with the Fit – which has been available since 2006.

Honda will be offering the JDM Odyssey and the compact Stream Wagon to the U.S. market. This means that Honda will have to change some of the plans that they have made for their long time goals. However, we have no doubt that these cars will be accepted with no problems.
