Hyundai Gives Elantra A New Look

Remodeled Hyundai Elantra

Hyundai has dropped the old and rather boring look of the Elantra and replaced it with a more bolder and fierce attitude that we have all been looking forward to. They debuted the newly remodeled Elantra at the 2008 Beijing International Auto Show.

The Elantra now sports a new front end that closely resembles that of the Elantra Touring model. It is clear that Hyundai is still trying to keep close to the designs that they know will work while at the same time trying to introduce some new ideas. They have removed the bulging back end that many of us have dreaded to look at by adding on a brand new trunk, headlights, and bumper. They have also reshaped the lower intake.

Chinese consumers can expect to see the new Elantra in dealerships within the next few months. As yet there is no news on when we can expect to see it come over to the U.S. However, we expect that U.S. customers will embrace the new Elantra and possibly change up the interior in order to allow better connectivity for digital music devices. Now we just have to sit back and wait to see when it might happen.
